About Us
The Adolescent & Family Counsellor's Association was formed in 1990 to support counsellors who promote wellbeing for young people and their families across NSW. These counselling services are a NSW government funded initiative under the auspice of various not for profit community organisations to mitigate the risk of youth homelessness through family breakdown.
AFCA members have an annual conference event, training workshops and regional meetings to assist them with professional development, practice ideas and support for their therapeutic services.
Please do not hesitate to contact the AFCA executive for enquiries about AFCA and/or suggestions for this website.
